Chugging along...

4 weeks left in this term...5 exams and 4 papers left to go...almost home free! I am looking forward to my 10 days off before the next term begins (more if I can get my work done early). I have a stack of books that I can't wait to read not because I have to but because I just want to read something enjoyable. I am also looking forward to some days pool side. Its been a while since I've just been outside to enjoy the sun.

Say What!?! What's really wrong with this pic?

Ok this is officially a "what the hell" post. I saw this shared by a friend on Facebook last week and I was appalled. I mean I appreciate the honesty-really I do. But this sign implies that if you want to give birth any other way than with an epidural, flat on your back or  have an unnecessary c-section, you and your baby are in danger. Yet study, after study, after study shows that that's not the case. This is insane! I seriously hope there are no midwives working there-I can't imagine that one in their right mind would be ok with this. Somehow I'm going to incorporate this into my paper for my midwifery class...what do you think is a good title?
